Karachi, January 27, 2020 (PPI-OT): Systems Limited (SYS), in collaboration with Microsoft, hosted “Microsoft Power Platform – Roundtable Session” today at Systems Limited Campus, Lahore. The session focused on better understanding Microsoft Power Platform.

Microsoft Power Platform enables data democratization, making digital information accessible to non-technical users. Zeeshan Pirzada, Cloud Specialist at Microsoft, initiated the session and talked about the Microsoft transformation journey and Microsoft’s growth in Pakistan. “In 2015, when we launched Microsoft Office 365, we found reduced resistance from the market… now we have over ten thousand customers for Office 365. Due to the cloud penetration in the market, we receive over 50% of the total revenue from Pakistan,” he said.

“Power Apps is a platform that allows you to create applications [for your] organization, within your department, any business scenario or pain point…”

This was followed by a technical presentation on Power Apps by Rahber Ashraf, Senior Advisory Software Engineer, Systems Limited. He gave an overview of Power Platform and its use cases, answered questions from the industry experts in attendance, and gave a live demonstration of Power Apps.
