Tank Accident in Leh Claims Lives of Five Indian Troops

Srinagar, A tragic accident in the Leh district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir resulted in the deaths of five Indian troops, including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), when their T-72 tank was involved in a mishap near the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident occurred around 3 am near the Mandir Morh area during a routine exercise. Indian media sources have confirmed the recovery of the bodies of all five soldiers involved in the incident. The troops were navigating a river crossing in the Daulat Beg Oldie sector when their tank was overcome by sudden flash floods, leading to the fatal incident.
