Peshawar, November 28, 2012 (PPI-OT): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information, Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that terrorists are planning to send their own backed candidates to the parliament in the forthcoming general elections so as to occupy the parliament and therefore imposed their own will on the people, if it happens, it will be disastrous for the country and the whole world. He asked the people to be aware of this conspiracy and vote for the true patriotic people in the coming elections.
These remarks he made while talking to a big public gathering in PK-12 Jabatar district Nowshera. Some prominent political workers joined ANP at the occasion. The public gathering was also addressed by ANP district Nowshera President, Ahrar Khattak and a prominent figure Daud Khattak.
Those who joined alongwith their families etc; included, Haji Nazar Muhammad Khan, Misal Khan, Nek Muhammad Khan and Shaukat Khan. They reposed confidence in the party leadership and its policies. ANP office bearers of PK-12 Nowshera,
Zar Ali Khan, Mian Hamid Saeed, Irfan Khattak, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Asghar Iqbal Khattak and Tameezuddin Khattak were also present on the occasion.
Mian Iftikhar announced two new tubewells for Jabatar and Jaba Khushk and announced to repair the existing tubewells. He also assured to rehabilitate the affectees of dam and construction of spurs and pavement of streets.
The Minister said that earlier terrorists used to call casting of votes an un-Islamic Act and they were against elections but of late they realized that without vote they can not impose their agenda, therefore, the terrorists are campaigning in their areas of influence, brow beating the people to vote for their backed candidates but the present government would not allow such campaigning to succeed and would block their way at all cost.
Information Minister congratulated the joining of people to the ANP fold and added that their decision would strengthen the party. He said that the people throughout the province are regularly joining the ANP which indicates, the ANP policy are true and pro public, adding the ANP is the only political force which offered tremendous sacrifices for the rights of Pakhtuns.
He said that police force was strengthened, their salaries increased, Shuhadah package announced and more incentives were given, that was one of the reason that police force foiled terrorists attempts everywhere and in the process sacrificed their lives.
The Provincial Minister called upon the party workers to get preparation for the coming elections and tell the people about the five years performance of the government and the sacrifices it made during its own tenure.
