Islamabad, July 06, 2023 (PPI-OT): Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf and Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani have expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of the mother of Pakistan Union of Journalists (PFUJ) President Afzal Butt.
The Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly expressed their condolences on the death of Afzal Butt’s mother in their separate condolence messages and termed her death as a great shock and irreparable loss for Afzal Butt and her family. He said that mother is a priceless gift of nature, her loss is a great tragedy which cannot be fulfilled for a long time. He expressed his heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with Afzal Butt. He is an equal sharer in the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family.
The Speaker of the National Assembly prayed to Allah Almighty to raise the ranks of the deceased and grant patience to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
