Thousands participate in martyr’s funeral in Sopore

Srinagar, March 24, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, thousands of people participated in the funeral prayers of the martyred youth, Tahir Ahmad Dar, in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Tahir Ahmad Dar was killed along with another youth during a three-day cordon and search operation by the Indian troops in Warpora area of Sopore on Saturday.

Thousands of people assembled in the native Warpora village of the youth and offered his funeral prayers. A large number of mourners including women joined the procession, which took the body of Dar to the martyrs’ graveyard. He was laid to rest in his native graveyard amid pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
