Timely elections must for political, economic stability in country: Kundi

Minister of State for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Faisal Karim Kundi says timely elections are necessary for political and economic stability in the country.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he said Pakistan Peoples Party has launched the election campaign and is utmost trying to get maximum seats in next general elections.

Faisal Karim Kundi said Benazir Income Support Program is providing assistance to nine million people of the country to alleviate poverty and improve their living standard.

He said concrete steps have been taken to support flood-hit people across the country.
