Top Chinese departments and foreign diplomats in Beijing condole the demise of Begum Nusrat Bhutto

Islamabad: Madam Yang Yani, Assistant Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) visited the Pakistan Embassy here this afternoon and expressed her deep condolences with Ambassador Masood Khan over the sad demise of former First Lady, Begum Nusrat Bhutto, says a press release received here today from Beijing, China.

Expressing her sentiments in the condolence book she mourned the tragic death “with deep grief” and regarded Ms. Bhutto as “the old friend of the Chinese people and the CPC.”

Talking to the Ambassador she lauded the services of late Ms. Bhutto towards the cause of democracy in Pakistan and said that she would always remain in our hearts.

A large number of diplomats including the Ambassadors of India, Turkey, Malta, Malaysia, Afghanistan, Luxembourg, Maldives, Burundi, Qatar, Laos and Indonesia have visited the Pakistan embassy during the last two days to record their comments in the condolence book placed in the chancery of the Embassy.
