Topian Reunion Held At Lower Topa (Murree)

Islamabad, July 08, 2012 (PPI-OT): The reunion of Lower Topa Old Boys Association (LOBA) was held at PAF Public School Lower Topa (Murree). Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force was the chief guest at the occasion.

The Ex-Governor of Sind Lt Gen Moin ud Din Haider who is the Chief Patron for life, of LOBA also attended the function. The ceremony was attended by former students including senior officers from Pakistan Air Force, Army and civil services. LOBA (Lower Topa Old Boys Association) holds this re-union biennially.

This institution which was established way back in 1953 and is run by PAF, has the honour to groom young boys who then join PAF Academy Risalpur to graduate from there as GD (Pilots) or Aeronautical Engineers. Since its inception, many students from this institution have served the Pakistan Air Force, rising to the highest ranks.

Many joined the other defense forces and civil services and served the nation with dignity and honour. Topians have not only proved their mettle as professional Pilots or Aeronautical Engineers, but have also excelled in any field they chose to serve.

The two days function included a reunion dinner, a variety show and presentations.
