Trade Development Authority of Pakistan grants subsidy to Seafood exporters to participate in exhibition in seafood and fisheries industry

Karachi, May 09, 2014 (PPI-OT): Three assertive organizations have resolved to join hands in boosting the export of fish, prawns and lobsters which, in turn, will bring about significant foreign exchange revenues. As a first step in this direction, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has granted subsidy to Seafood exporters to participate in Seafex, a significant exhibition in seafood and fisheries industry being held in Dubai.

The other active partners are Pakistan Fisheries Export Association and the Fisheries Development Board. All the three will be in action soon for the formation of a Pakistan Pavilion at Seafex 2014. Seafood is a preferred meal all over the world and Pakistan being bestowed with an exclusive economic zone coastline of over 400 nautical miles from Karachi to Gwadar, has enormous potential for fishing and its export.
