Tragic Electrocution Incident Claims Life in Jammu

Jammu, A daily wager employed with the Power Development Department (PDD) was electrocuted to death, while another was hospitalized after coming into contact with a live wire in the Mendhar area of Poonch district, in the Jammu region of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred around 10:00 AM at Gursai Morh area in Sector Harni of Mendhar, when Naseer Ahmad, alongside another employee, Abdul Rehman, were repairing a power line. Ahmad succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead upon arrival at the Sub District Hospital Mendhar. Rehman, who also received an electric shock, was taken to the hospital in an unconscious state and is currently receiving medical treatment.
