Pakistan and US Navies Conduct Joint Maritime Exercise in Karachi

Islamabad, The Pakistan Navy and the US Navy conducted a joint maritime exercise, “Inspired Union 2024,” in Karachi, aimed at bolstering naval relations and enhancing interoperability through professional exchanges.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the exercise involved diverse units such as the United States Marine Corps, Coast Guards, Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams, and other specialized groups. The exercise facilitated multiple discussions and practical evolutions on topics of mutual interest, emphasizing the collaborative effort to maintain regional maritime safety.

The engagement also included strategic meetings between the Commander of CTF-52 and senior Pakistan Navy officials, discussing various aspects of maritime cooperation. The regular conduct of the “Inspired Union” exercises underscores the enduring military relations between the two countries and their shared commitment to a secure maritime environment in the region.
