Traffic Halted on Srinagar-Jammu Highway Due to Mudslides

Srinagar: Traffic on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has been suspended due to mudslides and falling rocks, causing significant disruptions.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Deputy Commissioner Ramban reported that the road blockage occurred at multiple points including Hingni at Mehad, Panthiyal, and Kishtwari Pather. The official cited inclement weather conditions as a contributing factor and advised commuters to verify the road status before embarking on travel along this route.

The halt in traffic flow on this critical highway, which serves as a vital link between the cities of Srinagar and Jammu, poses inconveniences and potential safety risks for travelers in the region.
