Tragic Landslide Claims Life of Man in Budgam

Srinagar: A man tragically lost his life in a landslide while extracting soil in the Chrar-i-Sharif area of Budgam district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir late Wednesday night.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the victim, identified as 27-year-old Ishfaq Ahmad Khatana, was engaged in soil extraction for land filling at Bajpathri Budgam when he was buried under a large mound of soil. Local police officials confirmed that Khatana died instantly at the scene. Legal proceedings related to the incident have been initiated as the community mourns the loss.
