Treet Corporation Limited Announces Extraordinary General Meeting in Lahore

Lahore, Treet Corporation Limited has scheduled an Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) for June 28, 2024, at its registered office located in the Industrial Area of Kot Lakhpat, Lahore. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the meeting will address several key administrative procedures and shareholder voting methods.

Notices of the meeting along with a statement of material facts under Section 134(3) of the Companies Act, 2017, will be dispatched to all certificate holders 21 days prior to the EOGM. The company has also updated this information on its website. Shareholders can appoint proxies to vote on their behalf, which must be submitted 48 hours before the meeting. Both individual and corporate shareholders will need to verify their identities or representative authority at the meeting.

Treet Corporation Limited is implementing electronic and postal voting for this meeting. Electronic voting will be available from June 25 to June 27, 2024, and postal ballots must be submitted by June 27. Furthermore, shareholders are encouraged to convert their physical shares into book-entry form in compliance with the Companies Act, 2017 to facilitate safer and more efficient handling of their securities.

Additionally, Treet Corporation Limited is offering an electronic participation option for the EOGM to accommodate shareholders who cannot attend in person, provided they register 48 hours before the meeting commences. The company also remains open to arranging a video conference facility for shareholders groups holding 10% or more of the shareholding, if requested ten days prior to the EOGM.
