Tri-Pack Films Limited Announces Unclaimed Shares and Dividends Notice

Karachi: Tri-Pack Films Limited has issued a notice to its shareholders regarding unclaimed shares and dividends that have been pending for over three years. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the announcement is in compliance with Section 244 of the Companies Act, 2017, as well as Clause 5.6.9 (b) of the PSX Rule Book.

The company detailed that the unclaimed shares and dividends are listed on their official website under the “Investor Relations – Shareholders Notice and Announcement” section. These assets have been unclaimed since they became due and payable. Tri-Pack Films has already sent notices via courier and registered post to the last known addresses of the shareholders, urging them to submit their claims.

Shareholders who have not yet responded are invited to lodge their claims with the company’s share registrar, FAMCO Share Registration Services (Pvt) Limited, within ninety days from the notice’s publication date. The notice is set to be published in the Business Recorder and Nawa-i-Waqt newspapers on Wednesday, 24 July 2024.

Should no claims be received within the stipulated period, Tri-Pack Films Limited will proceed with the necessary actions as prescribed by the Act to handle the unclaimed shares and dividends.
