Tributes paid to Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed on his Martyrdom Anniversary

The Military leadership has paid glowing tributes to Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, on his 65th Shahadat Anniversary.

Major Tufail Muhammad, the second recipient of Nishan-e-Haider, embraced Shahadat while fighting gallantly at Lakshmipur sector in East Pakistan in 1958.

Major Tufail Muhammad’s martyrdom anniversary serves as a powerful reminder of the extraordinary sacrifices made by the Armed Forces of Pakistan to defend the motherland.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has paid tributes to Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider, on his martyrdom anniversary.

In a statement on Tuesday, he said Major Tufail Shaheed did not even care about his life for the safety of the country.

He said the entire Pakistani nation pays homage to Major Tufail Shaheed for his sacrifice.

He said the nation will never forget the sacrifices of its martyrs.
