Turk Consul General calls on Administrator Karachi Metropolitan Corporation

Karachi: Consul General of Turkey Murat M. Onart called on Administrator KMC Muhammad Hussain Syed in his office on Friday and discussed with him matters of mutual interest and bilateral relations.

Administrator Karachi on this occasion informed him about the ongoing development process in the city and the planning for the future. He said Karachi was counted in the ten biggest cities of the world and its population has reached 20 million mark. He said mega projects were needed here to provide better civic facilities to people here including mass transit project, light rail project and rapid bus system.

Administrator Karachi said Turkey is a close friend of Pakistan and it always supported Pakistan internationally. People of Pakistan have high regards for their brethren in Turkey. The Turk Consul General expressed good wishes for Pakistan especially the city of Karachi. Municipal Commissioner Matanat Ali Khan and other senior officers were also present on this occasion.
