Turkish Foreign Minister expresses solidarity with Foreign Minister Khar

Islamabad: Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu called Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar last night to express solidarity with the people and Government of Pakistan on NATO/ISAF attacks in Mohmand Agency that have led to the Shahadat of 24 Pakistani soldiers and caused injury to 16 soldiers.

Foreign Minister Khar while thanking FM Davutoglu for this expression of solidarity condemned in the strongest terms the unprovoked and totally unacceptable attacks by NATO/ISAF which demonstrated complete disregard for international law and human life.

FM Davutoglu assured FM Khar that Turkey as member of NATO would ask for an impartial inquiry into the attacks. He added that loss of Pakistani soldiers was as painful as losing Turkish soldiers.
