Under the Supervision of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the crackdown has been accelerated to arrest the fugitive proclaimed offenders abroad

Lahore, June 03, 2023 (PPI-OT): Under the direction of Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the crackdown for the arrest of dangerous proclaimed offenders who are absconding abroad is going on rapidly and the police teams are arresting dangerous POs and bringing them back home with the support of Interpol and FIA.

Spokesperson of Punjab Police said that 06 more criminals from different districts involved in serious crimes have been arrested, with the addition of which the total number of arrested criminals from foreign countries has increased to 43. Spokesperson of Punjab Police said that the team of Punjab Police Faisalabad has arrested 03 more dangerous POs from Dubai and returned home.

The team headed by Inspector CIA Khalid Nawaz Waria arrested three proclaimed offenders from Dubai, the arrested POs include Muhammad Zeeshan, Muhammad Usman and Saqlain Mushtaq. They were wanted in serious cases including murder, ransom, dacoity and gang rape. Spokesman Punjab Police added that 03 more proclaimed offenders have been arrested with the help of Interpol in Lisbon, Oslo and Bahrain. The IG Punjab praised the police teams that arrested the fugitive proclaimed offenders abroad and said that the crackdown should be made more effective to arrest the proclaimed offenders.
