Uttarakhand Resident Shot and Injured in Shopian, IIOJK

Srinagar, In an unsettling incident in the Shopian district of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), a man hailing from Uttarakhand, India, was shot and wounded by unidentified assailants.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the victim, identified as Dilranjeet Singh, came under gunfire in the Herpora area of Shopian. Following the attack, Singh was promptly provided medical attention at the Shopian district hospital before being transferred to a more equipped facility in Srinagar for further treatment. Reports indicate that his condition has stabilized.

In response to the shooting, Indian troops have initiated a comprehensive search operation in the vicinity, establishing a perimeter around the area in an effort to locate those responsible for the attack.
