Lahore : Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran inaugurated the painting exhibition of College Lecturer Arif Khan in the Anna Molka Art Gallery of PU College of Art and Design here at Old Campus on Tuesday. College Principal Prof Dr Rahat Naved Masud, faculty members and a large number of students were also present on the occasion.
Addressing on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran said aesthetic sense of human made him different from other living things. He said such exhibitions made pleasant impact and helped human develop creativity in them. He said the students love calligraphy and painting and they always learnt a lot by such exhibitions and art-lovers get an opportunity to observe the things with keen interest.
College Principal Dr Rahat Naved Masud said Arif Khan was a polite teacher, painter, and the work of Arif Khan was very well respected in the market. She said design and painting both came in calligraphy. Arif Khan briefed the audience about the objective of holding the exhibition.
