Lahore Police Honor Martyred Constable Ghulam Rasool with Solemn Funeral

Lahore, The Lahore Police conducted a solemn funeral for Constable Ghulam Rasool at Fort Gujjar Singh, Police Lines, attended by high-ranking officials including Corps Commander Lahore Lt. Gen. Syed Amir Raza and Capital City Police Officer Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamiana. Constable Rasool, who served in the Judicial Wing, was tragically killed in an attack while on duty.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the ceremony saw senior police officials, including IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar and other dignitaries, paying their respects. CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamiana saluted the martyr’s body and laid a wreath of flowers, commending Constable Rasool for his ultimate sacrifice.

During the service, CCPO Kamiana highlighted the department’s commitment to the welfare of the families of martyred officers and assured that efforts to capture and prosecute the assailants were underway. The department praised Constable Rasool’s bravery and sacrifice, asserting that such acts of valor safeguard the community and enhance the police force’s honor.
