Water Supply Restored in Gwadar Suburbs After Pipeline Repair

Gwadar: The main water pipeline from Akra Dam to the suburbs of Gwadar, which had suffered a break near Nagor Sharif, has been successfully repaired, restoring water access to thousands of residents. The rupture had significantly disrupted the water supply to areas including Nagor, Chub Kalamati, and Chub Rakani.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the rapid response by the team led by Public Health Executive Momin Ali Baloch was pivotal in addressing this critical infrastructure failure. The team’s effective planning and efforts ensured the swift restoration of the pipeline, normalizing the water supply to the affected regions. The restoration work has been met with relief and satisfaction among the local population, who had experienced considerable hardship due to the water outage.

The successful completion of the repair work underscores the government’s commitment to quickly and efficiently resolving public service issues, thereby stabilizing daily life for the residents of Gwadar’s suburbs.
