We have responsibility to provide full sports, recreation opportunities to new generation besides focusing on their education: Metropolitan Commissioner

Karachi, June 27, 2014 (PPI-OT): Metropolitan Commissioner of KMC Sajjad Hussain Abbasi said we all have the responsibility to provide full sports and recreation opportunities to new generation besides focusing on their education. This would help make them good citizen and useful member of our society.

He said this while speaking in the concluding ceremony of Summer Camp held in the City Sports Complex by the CSR Department of KMC. Senior Director CSR Muhammad Rehan Khan, Director Sports Afaq Durrani, Deputy Director Mazhar Imam, Jameel Ahmed and other officers and coaches of various sports disciplines were present on this occasion.

The Metropolitan Commissioner congratulated the head of CSR department and the staff for holding the Summer Camp for young students of the city. He expressed hope that participants of different games must have gained something through this opportunity and this would help them become good and valuable sportsmen.

The Senior Director CSR Muhammad Rehan Khan on this occasion gave a detailed briefing on the summer camp which this year had been held on seven sports centers of KMC. He said this camp provided the students with good opportunity to learn the techniques of different games.
