Karachi, October 24, 2013 (PPI-OT): A three member World Bank delegation led by its Senior Public Sector Specialist for South Asia Yasuhiko Matsuda called on Administrator KMC Saqib Ahmed Soomro in his office and discussed with him about municipal services for citizens in Karachi, health, education and investment sectors.
Director General Engineering Niaz Ahmed Soomro, Director Coordination Afaq Mirza and other officers were also present on this occasion.
Administrator Karachi informed the delegation about the development process in the city. He also told them regarding various Karachi Development Projects like construction of flyovers and bridges and different transport improvement projects including Karachi Circular Railway, Bus Rapid Transport System and construction of highways.
He said KMC carrying out these projects under coordination and cooperation from different organization to ensure maximum civic facilities to citizens of Karachi.
