World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day Celebrated with Theme of Generosity

Islamabad, Today marks the observance of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, dedicated this year to the theme “I give with joy, and the joy I give is a reward,” celebrating the spirit of voluntary service and the impact of aid workers around the globe.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the day is recognized annually to honor the principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. The theme emphasizes the importance of joy in giving, spotlighting the selfless contributions of volunteers who provide humanitarian aid under the Red Cross and Red Crescent banners.
