Srinagar, December 29, 2012 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, fourteen residential quarters were completely gutted in a fire in sweeper colony of the municipal committee Pahalgam.The fire has affected at least 20 families who were living in these quarters.

Media reports said that the fire broke out from one of the quarters at around 5.30 am on Friday and soon engulfed the adjoining quarters. The fire tenders were immediately called to douse the fire. “By the time fire tenders reached the spot, fire had damaged half of the quarters till then,” reports said.
