ADB committed to partnering with developing economies in Asia

President Asian Development Bank Masatsugu Asakawa has said that Bank is committed to partnering with developing economies in Asia to achieve their recovery goals from the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking at the meeting of the ADB Board of Governors, he said the Bank had announced a 20 billion dollars package in April to help its developing members to address COVID-19.

Asakawa said ADB will also work with developing members for mitigation of climate change impacts, and enhancement of the regional financial safety net.
