Administrator Karachi Metropolitan Corporation reviews development works in city

Karachi, April 26, 2013 (PPI-OT): KMC Administrator Syed Hashim Raza Zaidi has directed Technical Services Department to speed up work on all ongoing development projects including construction of flyovers at different junctions of Shara-e-Pakistan, Right way of Jail Chowrangi Flyover and repairing of bridges at Sharea Faisal.

He was addressing to a meeting of Technical Services Department to review the ongoing works in the city. D.G Technical Services Niaz Soomro and other officials attended the meeting. Administrator Karachi said the caretaker provincial minister for local government has assured all possible support for release of remaining funds for Sharah-e-Pakistan Flyovers which holds much importance for city.

Administrator Karachi was briefed about the progress on development projects during the meeting. Regarding changing of expansion joints on Baloch Colony Bridge, Drigh Road Bridge and Malir River Bridge, the Administrator directed concerned officers to complete this work as soon as possible so that the traffic jam could be averted on adjoining roads.
