Karachi: AGP Limited has officially notified the Pakistan Stock Exchange about the upcoming election of directors, as mandated by the Companies Act, 2017. The notification was published in both The Nation and Nawai Waqt newspapers on Tuesday, July 02, 2024.
The election is scheduled for an Extraordinary General Meeting on July 09, 2024, at the Ramada Karachi Creek in Karachi. Seven candidates have been confirmed to stand for the election, and all are expected to be elected unopposed. The candidates include Mr. Tariq Moinuddin Khan, Mr. Kamran Nishat, Mr. Muhammad Kamran Nasir, Mr. Mahmud Yar Hiraj, Mr. Muhammad Kamran Mirza, Mr. Zafar Iqbal Sobani, and Ms. Maleeha Humayun Bangash.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), AGP Limited has ensured compliance with the regulatory requirements of Section 166 of the Companies Act by nominating individuals who bring a range of experience, competencies, and skills to the board.
