Ahmad Hassan Textile Mills Cancels Extraordinary General Meeting and Authorized Capital Increase

Karachi, The Board of Directors of Ahmad Hassan Textile Mills Limited (AHTM) has made the decision to cancel the planned Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) and withdraw the proposed increase in the company’s Authorized capital. The EOGM, initially scheduled for June 21, 2023, will no longer take place, and the agenda items will be deferred to the next General Meeting.

In a recent announcement, Ahmad Hassan Textile Mills Limited revealed that the Board of Directors has opted not to proceed with the Authorized capital increase. As a result, the Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting, which had been circulated to shareholders, has been rescinded.

Additionally, the previously determined books closure period for the EOGM, spanning from June 14, 2023, to June 21, 2023, has been invalidated. Shareholders are advised to disregard any deadlines or requirements associated with the canceled EOGM.
