Ahsan Iqbal Advocates for Dialogue to Address Public Concerns in Azad Jammu and Kashmir

Muzaffarabad: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has reaffirmed the government’s pledge to resolve the public concerns and protests in Azad Jammu and Kashmir through dialogue and legal means. He emphasized the importance of engaging with stakeholders to reach a peaceful settlement.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal made these remarks while speaking to the media before his departure to Muzaffarabad. He is part of a high-level committee, constituted by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, tasked with assessing the ground situation and engaging with relevant parties in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Minister Iqbal highlighted the government’s readiness to address the legitimate concerns of the people of Azad Kashmir through legal solutions wherever possible. He assured the public that the Federal Government is fully aware of their issues and is committed to taking all necessary steps to resolve them in a peaceful and constructive manner.
