APHC-AJK Calls for Global Intervention to Address Kashmir Dispute

Lahore: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chapter has called on the international community to exert pressure on India to resolve the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in line with United Nations resolutions.

According to Kashmir Media Service, during a press conference in Lahore, APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi criticized India’s policies in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), highlighting the detention of Hurriyat leaders and ongoing human rights abuses. Safi stressed the importance of Pakistan’s unity with Kashmiris and urged Pakistani political and religious groups to adopt a cohesive approach to the issue. He also announced plans for rallies in Sialkot and Lahore on July 19 to mark the Accession to Pakistan Day.
