APHC Condemns Indian Troops’ Atrocities in IIOJK, Calls for International Attention

Srinagar, The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has condemned the escalating atrocities committed by Indian troops against the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), expressing deep concern over the intensified crackdown on the region’s population.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, denounced the ongoing house raids, cordon and search operations (CASOs), and the arrest of youth under draconian laws. He described these actions as political vengeance intended to punish Kashmiris for challenging India’s illegal occupation.

Minhas highlighted the oppressive environment created by India through its unprecedented repressive measures in IIOJK. He criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) regime and its pliant media for claiming that normalcy has returned to the territory, asserting that daily raids, CASOs, and arrests undermine New Delhi’s narrative.

“The fact of the matter is that India has enforced a militarized normalcy through its massive presence of men and machines of war in IIOJK,” he said, emphasizing that India’s claims of normalcy are aimed at misleading the international community about the actual situation in the region.

The APHC spokesman maintained that true peace and stability in the region could not be achieved without resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions. He argued that the denial of the right to self-determination to the Kashmiris is the main obstacle to achieving genuine normalcy in the territory and having a peaceful and stable South Asia.

Minhas stressed that the Kashmiri people are the guardians of the martyrs’ sacrifices and would not allow these sacrifices to go in vain. He appealed to imams and religious scholars to seek blessings from Almighty Allah and pray for the resilience of the Kashmiri people in their pursuit of freedom from Indian tyranny.

The APHC’s statement underscores the continued resistance in IIOJK against Indian occupation and calls for international attention to the ongoing human rights violations in the region.
