Turkish General Meets with Pakistan’s Naval Chief to Discuss Maritime Cooperation

Islamabad, Turkey’s Chief of General Staff, General Metin Gorak, visited Naval Headquarters in Islamabad to meet with Pakistan’s Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf. The meeting focused on bilateral issues, including maritime cooperation, shipping, and the broader maritime situation in the region.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the Turkish General and Pakistan’s Naval Chief explored ways to strengthen collaboration between their respective navies. Discussions covered a range of topics, including maritime security and regional stability.

General Gorak expressed his appreciation for the role of the Pakistan Navy in maintaining peace and stability in the maritime region. This visit underlines the ongoing cooperation between Turkey and Pakistan, with a shared commitment to enhancing maritime security and fostering bilateral relations.
