APHC Declares Kashmir a Political and Humanitarian Issue, Calls for Dialogue

Srinagar, The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has reiterated that the Kashmir issue is fundamentally political and humanitarian, asserting that it lacks a military solution and requires resolution through meaningful dialogue.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC leadership condemned the continuing violent operations, including cordon and search operations, raids, and arrests conducted by Indian troops in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

The leadership’s statement highlighted the severe conditions under which the local population lives, describing towns and villages as being transformed into military camps where severe human rights violations are perpetrated, particularly against the youth. The APHC has called on international human rights bodies to intervene and halt what it describes as Indian state terrorism, urging the global community to pressure India to adhere to United Nations resolutions regarding the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
