Srinagar, August 02 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that the authorities have completely failed on all fronts including the supply of essential commodities to the people in the holy month of Ramadhan.
Addressing gathering at Mahraj Bazaar in Srinagar he said “The black-marketing is going on unchecked and traffic snarls and shortages in water supply have created tremendous problem for the people,” Even kerosene and rice are not available in stores in the holy month, he said.
The Mirwaiz said that the occupation authorities were deliberately ignoring the development of historical Srinagar city under political vendetta. “The roads and pavements are not being repaired neither there is a good drainage system in the city,” he added.
“Nobody is taking care of the under privileged people in Kashmir,” he deplored.
Meanwhile, the Mirwaiz expressed shock and regret over the sad demise of Er Syed Javaid Nazir in an accident. He sympathized with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
