Azerbaijan Seeks to Strengthen Sectoral Ties with Pakistan, Focus on Communications and Transport

Islamabad, Azerbaijan has conveyed its intention to bolster bilateral relations with Pakistan, focusing particularly on the communications and transport sectors. This was expressed during a meeting between Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, and Pakistan’s Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Farhadov highlighted the interest of Azerbaijani investors in exploring a wide range of investment opportunities within Pakistan. The discussions emphasized strengthening the cooperation between the two nations, with a keen interest in tapping into the potential of Pakistan’s diverse sectors.

Minister Abdul Aleem Khan responded by outlining the various investment possibilities available in Pakistan, especially in energy, health, information technology, and communications. The meeting underscored a mutual commitment to enhancing ties and exploring new avenues for collaboration that would benefit both countries economically and strategically.
