Balochistan Adviser Warns of Severe Climate Change Impacts

Quetta, Provincial Adviser on Environment and Climate Change, Naseemur Rahman Khan Malakhil, has issued a stern warning about the severe impacts of climate change on Balochistan, emphasizing the urgent need for adaptive policies and innovative solutions.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, during a meeting with a delegation, Adviser Malakhil highlighted the grave challenges posed by global warming, including potential severe malnutrition and water scarcity in the region.

He stressed the importance of prioritizing this sector to develop policies that not only address current issues but also anticipate future complications arising from climate change. Malakhil expressed his commitment to aligning departmental policies with contemporary environmental needs and ensuring the necessary resources are available to combat these challenges effectively.
