Quetta: Governor Balochistan Jafar Khan Mandukhel has acknowledged the pivotal role of engineers in the development of the country’s infrastructure, emphasizing their contributions during a meeting with a delegation from the engineering sector. He addressed the current challenges faced by engineers in Balochistan, including rapidly evolving technologies and complex regulatory environments, and committed to finding solutions.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Governor Mandukhel engaged in discussions with a sixteen-member delegation led by Chairman Ashfaq Ahmad Qureshi of United. The meeting also included prominent figures such as the Senior Vice Chairman of the Pakistan Engineering Council, Syed Nafast Raza, and Vice Chairman Balochistan, Sheikh Shahabuddin. The delegation presented various issues confronting local engineers, ranging from technological advancements to bureaucratic hurdles.
Governor Mandukhel expressed a keen understanding of the engineers’ difficulties and assured comprehensive support from the provincial government to address these challenges effectively. This initiative is part of broader efforts to bolster Balochistan’s infrastructure and ensure that the engineering sector can thrive in an increasingly complex landscape.
