Balochistan Interior Minister Commemorates Victims of August 8 Tragedy

Quetta: On the anniversary of the August 8 tragedy, Balochistan’s Provincial Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Longo reflected on the profound impact of the attack, labeling it a deliberate assault on the province’s intellectual and legal community. He emphasized the enduring pain of the loss and reiterated the government’s commitment to combating terrorism.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Minister Longo addressed the long-lasting void left by the loss of prominent lawyers in the tragedy, noting their significant contributions to the legal sector. He highlighted the provincial government and security agencies’ successes in improving regional security and stressed the high morale and determination to continue the fight against terrorism.

The minister also extended prayers for the elevation of the martyrs’ souls and for solace to their families, underscoring the ongoing efforts to ensure such tragedies do not repeat and justice prevails for the victims and their loved ones.
