Muzaffarabad, The Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has disbursed over Rs. 1.085 billion in loans to more than 5,200 permanent employees of government, semi-government, and autonomous institutions under its “Advance Salary Scheme.” The loans, offered at a very low markup, aim to assist employees with expenses related to children’s education, household needs, and other personal requirements such as marriage, over a period of up to four years.
According to Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the review meeting to promote business was presided over by President and Chief Executive Officer Shahid Shahzad Mir. It was highlighted that the scheme also allows employees who have previously availed loans to secure additional funds. The Advance Salary Scheme is noted for its quick processing and favorable terms.

The bank also offers a variety of other attractive financing options, including Gold Loans, Housing Finance, Personal Loans, Car Financing, Motorcycle Loans, Home Appliances, and loans targeting SMEs, Micro, Commercial, Tourism Development, and Healthcare sectors.
