Karachi: BankIslami has declared the closure of its transfer books for Ehad Sukuk I (BIPLSC) to determine entitlements for a profit payment on July 31, 2024.
The transfer books will be closed from July 30, 2024, to July 31, 2024, inclusive, to process entitlements for profit payment to the holders of Ehad Sukuk I. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the cut-off for accepting transfer requests by CDC Share Registrar Services Limited in Karachi will be at the close of business on July 29, 2024. Requests received by this date will ensure that transferees are eligible for the profit payment due the following day.
This temporary closure allows BankIslami to finalize the list of Sukuk holders entitled to receive profits for this specific period. Stakeholders of the BIPLSC are advised to ensure their transfer requests are submitted in a timely manner to be considered for the upcoming profit distribution.
