BJP govt trampling upon democratic rights of IIOJK people: Harsh Dev

Jammu, June 16, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party leader, Harsh Dev Singh, has said that prolonged bureaucratic rule in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is a negation of the guarantees enshrined in the Constitution. Harsh Dev Singh addressing public meetings in Kossar and Banek villages of Chenani constituency said that the Bharatiya Janata Party government was trampling upon the rights of Jammu and Kashmir people resulting in alienation amongst the general masses.

He added that several assurances by the Modi government of restoring Statehood to J and K at the appropriate time had failed to inspire the Kashmiri people who had lost faith in all such ‘melodramatic rants’ of the BJP leadership. Pointing towards the growing tensions in various parts of the territory, Harsh Dev Singh said it revealed the failure of administration to come up to the peoples’ expectations. He said that bureaucratic rule was no answer to the prevalent crisis.
