Body of Srinagar Youth Recovered from Jhelum River Days After Apparent Suicide

Srinagar: The body of a young man, Fayyaz Ahmed, who reportedly committed suicide by jumping into the Jhelum River, was recovered after four days, marking a tragic event in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Ahmed, hailing from the Bamana area of Srinagar, took his own life by leaping from the Qamarwari bridge. Authorities located his body downstream today, initiating a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
