Cabinet Briefed on Normalization of Trade with India Department

Islamabad: The Federal Cabinet, which met here today at the P.M. Secretariat under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, was briefed on the steps being taken for normalization of trade with India. The Cabinet was also apprised about the further steps to be taken in this direction so as to bring trade in line with our international obligations.

The Cabinet directed the Ministry of Commerce to ensure that Pakistan’s vital national economic interests are fully protected.
