Caretaker Advisor to C.M. Sindh Brigadier (Retd) Haris Nawaz visits Landhi Prison Karachi

Karachi, July 16, 2018 (PPI-OT): Caretaker Advisor to C.M. Sindh for Prisons, Works and Services, Special Education and Social Welfare, Brigadier (retd) Haris Nawaz has visited Landhi Jail Karachi today and checked security arrangements. He also viewed security arrangements for the high profile prisoners and directed to the concerned officers for the fool proof security of prison.

The caretaker Advisor also checked the meal being provided to the prisoners and enquired about the health condition of persons working in kitchen and directed to update the medical fitness tests of jail kitchen staff.

He also visited the training centre of the prison where computer training, fine arts and training of making handicraft was being provided to the prisoners. He said that training was very essential so that they could prove themselves as a useful citizen.

He visited the jail hospital and observed the medical facilities being provided to the prisoners. He directed for the compilation of proper record of medical store. On this occasion I.G. Prisons Sindh Nusrat Hussain Mangan, DIG Prison Qazi Nazeer, Superintendent jail Malir and other officers were also present.
