Forest Fire Erupts in Rajouri, Residential Blaze Damages Homes in Srinagar

Jammu, A significant forest fire has ignited in the Darhal tehsil of Rajouri district, causing concern among local authorities and residents in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, a separate incident in Srinagar resulted in damage to two houses.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the forest fire originated in the Sabzi Dodaj village. Firefighting teams are actively working to control the flames and mitigate further damage to the surrounding forest area. The efforts to douse the fire are ongoing, with officials prioritizing the safety of the natural environment and nearby communities.

In a concurrent event in the Hawal area of Srinagar district, two residential houses suffered damage due to a fire. The properties, owned by Mohammad Maqbool Sheikh and Abdul Rahman Mir, were affected early today. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the blaze and assessing the extent of the damage.
