Chief Minister Sindh condemns attack on Rangers’ Headquarters

Karachi, January 29, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has severely condemned the attack on the Rangers Headquarters and vehicles saying such criminal activities on forces and innocent citizens are nothing but a heinous conspiracy to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the city.

While paying homage to the martyred Rangers personnel, the Chief Minister said that it is their and Sindh Police’s sacrifices that the confidence of people has been restored, and they are having the sympathies of whole nation. He said that the nation and forces are united on one page, against the tyrannies of the terrorists, and their high spirits are further strengthened like a mountain.

The Chief Minister Sindh said that actually the Sindh Police and Rangers have engulfed the terrorists, that is why they are compelled to take on their feet, and resultantly they are bent upon coward actions like this incidence against the forces. But they would not be given a chance to escape the fury. He said that the police and rangers would soon be equipped with latest explosive detectors and other weaponry and for this some foreign security agencies are in contact.

While praising the role and sacrifice of Rangers in restoring peace in the city along with Sindh Police, the Chief Minister Sindh further said that Rangers is fully cooperating with Sindh Police for the safety of life and property of citizens, and for this they really deserve a great applause. The Sindh Government will continue their support and encouragement for this cause.
