Cleric Killed in Attack at Ajmer Mosque

New Delhi, Maulvi Mohammad Mahir, a 30-year-old Muslim cleric, was killed by three masked assailants inside a mosque in the Kanchan Nagar area of Ajmer, Rajasthan, on Monday. The attack also left six children traumatized, who were present with the cleric at the time.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the assailants, armed with sticks, entered the mosque where Maulvi Mahir resided, committed the murder, and then fled with his mobile phone. The violent incident has sparked fear and outrage within the local community, leading to calls for swift justice. The preliminary investigation has identified the involvement of three masked individuals in this brutal act.
